• Friday 4th September – Serial Killer Talk 6.30pm – 8pm SOLD OUT Join us for a talk about the most infamous of all the serial killers. We will discuss who they were, the crimes they committed and what ultimately what happened to them. • Friday 11th September – Wellbeing Journalling (with journal) - 6.30pm – Limited spaces. Join us for a well-being evening as you are guided through journalling for the mind, breathing exercises, meditation and nature therapy (inspired by ecotherapy) . The price is £25 and includes your own well-being journal to take home with you – you may choose your own from a selection. Refreshments included. • Saturday 12th September - Candlelight Classics - Jekyll & Hyde 7.30pm SOLD OUT A candlelit evening celebrating Robert Louis Stevenson’s The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde. We will discuss the book & learn about Robert Louis Stevenson whilst enjoying wine and nibbles. Ticket price £15 or upgrade to Penguin Clothbound hardback for £22.

• Tuesday 15th September – Haslar Book Club 11am – Open to all. Meet in the Coffee quarters. The book is Theo of Golden by Allen Levi. The book is available instore for 20% off for those attending attending Haslar book club.

• Saturday 19th September – Booksigning author Richard Frankland and his new book Dark Coast. Richard will be with us from 10.30 – 2.30pm signing copies and meeting you all. FREE EVENT.

• Saturday 10th October – Bookshop Day 10-4pm Special offers, free proofs, free kids books and more

• Wednesday 14th October - An Evening with AJ West and his new book The Deadly inheritance of Everest Mcdonald. 6.30pm We are thrilled to welcome Andy back to talk books, tv and the new book. We will then grill him with a Q&A, followed by a meet and greet and book-signing. Price is £10 and includes refreshments and £5 off a copy of the book 10+ SPACES LEFT

• Friday 16th October – Journalling for Beginners (includes Journal) Join us as we discuss the different types of journalling, are shown and may choose one of many different types of journals and get inspiration, before decorating and organising your first few pages. All journalling supplies are supplied for you ti use and other bits will be for sale. • Monday 19th October – An Evening with Louisa Scarr & Leicester Square – Book 4 in the Lucy Halliday series. We will talk, characters, writing and books. • Friday 23rd October – Ghost hunting and the Paranormal Talk 6.30pm- 8pm SOLD OUT Before taking over The Book Shop Sarah and a team ran a paranormal research group visiting haunted locations all over the UK, doing investigations that were open to the public. Join us as the team (including their resident medium) reunite for the first time and they talk about their experiences and the paranormal. • Friday 30th October - Witches and Witchcraft Talk  6.30pm – 8pm ish  SOLD OUT In the run up to Halloween join us for a talk about witches and witchcraft including What is a witch, beliefs and folklore, the witch trials, Wicca and the wheel of the year and magical practises.
