Author Submissions 

WE ARE NOT TAKING ANY SUBMISSIONS AT THIS TIME 

We currently have a backlog of approx 25 books to be read by our review group

 

Since March 2020 there has been a large volume of requests from authors for The Book Shop to stock their books and as we have very limited shelf space unfortunately we cannot stock them all.

We currently receive 8-10 requests  a week

If you would like us to consider your work, please email us to arrange an appointment/suitable time for you to come in and drop off a copy

. You will be asked to leave us your book with a contact sheet that details the terms for purchase.

We do not take books on SOR.

We must ask that you do not just turn up and drop off copies to the

shop, even as a gift.

Books left without following our procedure will be sent for recycling or

put straight in the second hand section.

Unfortunately not all books are suitable for our little independent book shop and not all books are proof read and edited to a suitable standard.
